Welcome to Day 4

8 Day Microdosing Course

What Should I Microdose With?

Choosing the Right Ally for Your Journey

Rooted in Intention, Not Hype

There are many psychedelics in the world, but not all are suited for microdosing. Some plant medicines—like ayahuasca, peyote, or iboga—are far too potent to be used in this way without deep preparation, lineage support, and medical awareness. These are teachers that require a very different kind of container and support.

When it comes to safe and effective microdosing, two options consistently rise to the top: psilocybin and LSD.

Psilocybin or LSD: Which One Speaks to You?

Both of these allies have unique personalities. Think of them as relational energies, not just compounds. You don’t need to pick “the best one”—just the one that best aligns with your body, rhythm, and intention.

LSD: Mind-Activated Clarity

  • More energizing and linear

  • Supports focus, organization, sustained productivity

  • Helpful when tackling complex projects or long mental tasks

  • Can feel like a natural stimulant

  • May disrupt sleep if taken too late in the day

💡 LSD tends to sharpen the mind and elevate cognitive flow. If you have a long workday ahead or need to maintain mental structure, this ally can support you.

Psilocybin: Heart-Led Awareness

  • More emotional and intuitive

  • Enhances empathy, creativity, and inner connection

  • Promotes lateral thinking, new perspectives

  • Can soften defenses and invite tenderness

  • Often best for heart centered intentions and lovely on

  • introspective or creative days

🌿 Psilocybin gently guides you into your emotional body. It can help you feel more attuned to yourself, your surroundings, and your purpose. If you're working through something personal, or seeking inspiration—this might be the wiser match.

Each person is different—and sometimes, the same person will need different allies at different times. The most empowered choice you can make is an informed and attuned one.

Be Mindful of Stimulation

Some people find LSD too stimulating, leading to restlessness or overthinking. Others feel foggy or distracted with psilocybin. These nuances are not flaws—they’re feedback. Your body is your guide.

A Note on Sourcing and Safety

These substances are still illegal in many regions. Please be discerning about your source and always test your materials—especially with LSD, which is more prone to adulteration.

As always, work with the medicine in a safe environment, ideally begin on a day without high demands when new to the practice. Listen for your body’s yes, and your intuition’s no.

Trust Your Inner Research Lab

Your journey is your own. Many people find one ally feels more natural over time, while others rotate based on their cycles, needs, and creativity. There’s no perfect protocol—only a relationship of presence, feedback, and evolution.

We’ll talk more about how to track your experience on Day 7, but for now, just begin noticing how different medicines interact with your focus, mood, sleep, creativity, and relationships.
